Job description:
A loving, adventurous family living in the Plateau seeks a full-time Nanny to care for their 10-month-old baby. The position starts as soon as possible, and the family is looking for a long-term Nanny with at least a one-year contract that can go longer for up to three years. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling with them for ten weeks a year, specifically in January, February, and summertime. Locations will primarily be in the Bahamas, Florida, Ontario, and Europe.
The family is expecting their second child, due in March-April. They will require support with their newborn as well. Therefore, they are looking for a Nanny who is experienced with infants.
The needed schedule would be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., guaranteeing 40 hours per week. They will require flexibility for date nights or extra hours over the weekend when needed.
The family seeks someone loving, cheerful, open-minded, and flexible to accommodate their dynamic childcare needs. They are seeking an enthusiastic Nanny who is active and engages with their baby. The family seeks someone who is collaborative, team-oriented dynamic (Support with light housekeeping chores such as emptying the dishwasher, taking away trash, helping with meal prep, etc.).
Their ideal Nanny would be patient, loving, and able to support their child with daily tasks such as diaper changes, nap times, meal preparation, feeding, and outings to the park while guiding the child through her routine.
The family is seeking an English-speaking or bilingual Nanny. While having a driver’s license is preferred, it is not required. The Nanny would also assist with childcare-related tasks such as the child’s laundry, meal preparation, and occasional errands like picking up items from the store when needed.
The family is looking for someone comfortable having parents at home, as they work at home and will be around.
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- 19 + years old age
- One full year of Nanny experience with infants 0-12 months or three years of non-continuous care for infants
- Childcare focus Resume
- Positive references (At least three childcare references)
- Reference letter (At least a 1-reference letter)
- Cover letter detailing your childcare experience
- First aid and CPR certified up-to-date
- Willing to obtain a Canadian criminal record check
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English or Bilingual
- Ideally, someone with a driver’s license but not required
- Someone comfortable travelling with the family 10 weeks per year (this will be discussed in advance, confirming dates and locations)
- Vaccinated per the Canadian guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Childcare for 10-months old baby and support with newborn baby
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for their children
- Engage and play with their children
- Outdoor activities (going to the park or outside to play)
- Childcare-related duties
- Meal preparation and feeding the child as needed.
- Light housekeeping (related to the children) specific responsibilities will be explained for those who apply.

Compensation and benefits:
- Offering rate $25.00- $35.00 per hour (Willing to negotiate for the right candidate)
- 40 Guaranteed hours offered per week
